As the second event of the LIV Golf Series kicks off in Oregon on Thursday, many are speculating about who could be the next PGA Tour player to jump into the Saudi-backed league.
One website, Bookies.com, has already got a shot at the next player to take the plunge – and end up taking as much money as possible. According to a release from the site, “it has “examined public comments from the remaining 21 players to look at the likelihood that one of them will jump and commit to LIV in the near future.”
Is it pure speculation? Definitely. Rory McIlroy, as you would expect after his comments about those who have left the PGA Tour, is a bull’s eye. However, the site has some prominent players listed as favorites to be the next to sell out.
