Kendrick Perkins commented on Warriors forward Draymond Green after he tore inside him for admitting he once prayed LeBron James get an injury.

In a post shared on Twitter, Perkins went straight to Green’s recent criticism, in which he also called the former NBA star a “c**n” and wondered why he would ever admit to wishing for such a thing. “Take that to the grave, my man,” Green said in a new episode from his podcast.

In a two-minute clip posted to Twitter, Perkins made clear his problem with Green’s comments. “Forget the old media and the new media. I’m on the OLD LAW! Keep it up,” Perkins wrote alongside the clip, referring to Green’s podcast.

“Ay Draymond, are you okay?” he asked at the beginning of the clip. “Is there the damn thing wrong with you? Didn’t you just win your fourth championship? Why the hell were you worried about me, why were you mad? Are you mad because I’m doing it my way and it just happens to work? I’m doing it my way, I don’t have to do it your way!… The old law says “Aw man, all that disrespect and all that shit, ring the doorbell, man, you fucked me up. There’s nothing ab** ns about me.”

Perkins also touched on Green’s reputation in the NBA for sticking his mouth out. “We all know, dawg, you all bark and don’t bite!” he said. “The NBA brothers know this, many of them who talk about you behind your back whispering that they know this. They know you’re not going to do anything! This has been proven, these are facts! We know that. So stop with all that loud talk. You could talk about me as an ESPN analyst, you could talk about my recordings, you could talk about anything you want to do. I don’t give a fuck about that. But what you’re not going to do is disrespect me and don’t call me an asshole. And that is what I stand for.”

As he wrapped up the clip, Perkins continued to accuse Green of barking and not biting, reiterating that he doesn’t want to be disrespected in such a way. “We know you’re not going to pour milk over your cereal,” he continued. “We’ll keep the entertainment, we can keep it ESPN, whatever you want to do. But we don’t do that shit, homeboy. Real talk.”

At 1:45 p.m. of his recent podcast episode, Green wondered why Perkins had ever admitted to praying for a “Source injury.” “Did you really think it was okay to give in? Come on, because,” he said. ‘Why do you feel this way? That is a problem. But even if you feel that way, take it to the grave, my man.”

on The Old Man and the Three podcast earlier this month, Perkins said he was “afraid as hell” going into Game 7 of the 2008 Eastern Conference Semifinals when LeBron was with the Cleveland Cavaliers. “This was the only time I really prayed that something happened to him in practice,” he said, pointing out that he was really that scared of LeBron at the time. “This is real! That’s how scared I was of LeBron.”

This is far from the first time Green and Perkins have clashed. just last month, Green called him a “big bogeyman”, and in 2021, Perkins said: Green would be his choice for a celebrity boxing match.
